Adventure Products are Automotive and Consumer Products combined . They integrate seamlessly with the vehicle and need to be easily removed for use or storage. Because of this they meet all stringent automotive requirements (crash, visibility, etc) while still having consumer product appeal and utility.

If you’ve seen the Camp Kitchen, Crossbars, Torch, or BT Speaker you’ve seen Rivian’s Adventure Products… I didn’t work on any of those. I built and led a small engineering team focused on identifying, down-selecting, and commercializing new Adventure Products. My time was cut short due to companywide layoffs but I hope to see our work launch in 2023 and beyond.
